Amid the profound pain and fear that the coronavirus inflicts, God’s grace and love found expression as faithful individuals responded to care for others most affected by this crisis. And their remarkable, selfless efforts have helped sustain our neighbors who are struggling.
And now we need your help to continue these ministries. With millions of people out of work, soaring food insecurity and vulnerable people pushed further to the margins, each of us must do our part. Leaders and volunteers engaged in outreach ministry are invited to join EMLI's weekly 'Outreach Conversations' to discuss the ongoing pandemic. Learn from one another and share resources; discuss ways to safely care for our neighbors in need, whether that's operating food pantries, meal programs or other outreach programs; and brainstorm, re-imagine and discern what's next for your congregation and ministry. You can participate each week, drop in once to ask a question or join as often as you're able!
